Empowering Equality: Human Rights Support & Education for Vulnerable Communities in Liberia
In Liberia, LGBTQ+ individuals continue to face discrimination, violence, and exclusion from basic rights and opportunities. Many are forced from their homes, denied education, harassed in their communities, and live in constant fear due to harmful laws and social stigma. Without protection, support, and awareness, countless lives are left vulnerable.
Our campaign seeks to build a safe and inclusive Liberia by:
Human Rights Education: Conducting awareness programs in schools, communities, and institutions to promote equality, tolerance, and respect for all.
Direct Support to Victims: Providing safe housing, counseling, legal aid, and healthcare referrals to LGBTQ+ persons facing violence or displacement.
Capacity Building: Training local leaders, educators, and youth groups on human rights principles to reduce stigma and strengthen allyship.
Advocacy & Policy Engagement: Working with civil society, media, and international partners to advocate for legal reforms and protections against discrimination.
Sustainable Opportunities: Empowering victims through vocational training, scholarships, and livelihood support, giving them a chance to thrive despite adversity.
With your support, we can provide safe spaces, amplify silenced voices, and build a Liberia where no one is denied dignity or opportunity because of who they are.
Funding Needs: Your contribution will go directly to legal aid, emergency shelter, education materials, training workshops, and livelihood support for LGBTQ+ victims and at-risk youth.
Together, we can transform fear into hope, exclusion into opportunity, and silence into strength.
